This is a lovely silver plate enameled medal featuring Our Lady of Lourdes in bright blue.  On the back is the image of St. Bernadette kneeling before the Blessed Mother at the Grotto in Lourdes, France.  Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette in 1858.  Many pilgrims have reported being healed on this very site through the waters of Lourdes.  A special pilgrimage site.
