This is a lovely medal with its six sided shape and filigree work surrounding the center blue enamel version of St. Michael the Archangel.  On the back is St. Christopher carrying the Child Jesus on his back.  Two great saints in one very special medal of faith.  

St. Michael is a high ranking archangel and is known as the leader of God's army against evil forces.  He is the patron saint of police officers, military personnel and paramedics.  St. Christopher is the patron saint of travelers.
