This is a lovely medal, signed and deeply embossed featuring St. Anne with her daughter The Blessed Virgin Mary as a child.  St. Anne is the patron saint of grandmothers, as she was the grandmother of Jesus.  On the back of the medal is the Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre in Quebec, Canada.  St. Anne is also the patron saint of sailors and fisherman and invoked against storms.  Very powerful.
