This lovely medal of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is surrounded by roses and highly decorated.  On the back is the image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel showing the Virgin Mary holding the child Jesus very tenderly.  There you can see the words, Regina Decor Carmeli O.P.N. This translates to "O Queen, who art the beauty of Carmel, pray for us".  The title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, referring to the mountain in Israel where the prophet Elijah lived and where the Carmelites trace their origins.
