Brazilian Amazonite Faceted 14mm Beaded Bracelet w/ Well Loved Vintage Medal of Notre Dame on front and Blessed Julia Billiart on the back

This is a well loved vintage medal featuring the letters ND, Notre Dame with images of The Sacred Heart of Jesus on the left and The Miraculous Medal on the right and a beloved and Blessed Julia Billiart.  She was cannonized in 1969 by Pope Paul VI, therefore this medal predates that date as she is now St. Julie Billiart.  She was born in Cuvilly, France in 1751 and became known for her dedication to education, particularly for the poor despite facing paralysis and persecution.  She was confined to bed for 22 years facing paralysis but she continued working for the kingdom of God.  She received a miracle after 22 years and regained her power to walk.  She is the patron saint against poverty, bodily ills and disease.
