This beautiful medal is usually paired together with both saints.  St. John Vianney was a French priest frequently referred to as the Cure d'Ars.  He is the patron saint of parish priests a title given to him in recognition of his exemplary dedication to his pastoral duties and the transformative impact he had on his community in ARs, France. His feast Day is March 8th.

St. Philomena was born in Corfu, Greece.  She is the patron saint of babies, infants and youth.  She was martyred at age 14.  Her miracles towards the Cure of Ars were as follows: Her apparition to the Cure of Ars, Miraculous healing of the Cure b Saint Philomena's intercession, and Miraculous healing happening in Ars following the Cure's urging to turn to St. Philomena.
