Aquamarine Faceted 12mm Beaded Bracelet w/ Notre Dame de Pontmain Vintage Silver Plated Medal

This is a lovely medal of Our Lady of Pontmain, also known as Our Lady of Hope.  Her title comes following her apparition at Pontmain, France in 1871.  Her message there was a message of prayer, very simple in the dramatic circumstances of war and invasion.  

There is also a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Hope of Pontmain at the National 
Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.  Funds for the chapel were donated by Bob Hope and his wife Dolores.
